Bafakhy Thangal Memorial Orphanage was established in 1973 mainly to shelter and educate the orphans and the destitute. This is a charitable institution recognised and aided by the Govt.of Kerala and managed by a registered committee, Khidmathul Islam Sangham. Our objective include imparting technical training to the inmates of the orphanages in order to solve the problem of rehabilitation and help the needy youths as far as possible to learn a trade and to attain a better standard of life. For this purpose an industrial training institute was established during 1999 near to the orphanage with N.C.V.T (Govt.of India) affiliation.
